International scientific conference (i-NASCON) is an event organized by Association of Science Officer Universiti Sains Malaysia (PPSUSM). It was started with National Science Officer Conference in 2010 and followed by International Scientific Conference (i-NASCON) in 2016 that was held in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The response for participation from these successful and well-planned events was really inspiring and encourage our association members to continue in organizing the 2nd i-NASCON in 2020 and Penang will be our next venue.

i-NASCON 2020 will bring together all researchers to share their knowledge and experiences by presenting their new findings and innovations in various research area. With the current wave of technology change to the vision 2020 and the role of university to achieve sustainable development goals by 2030, our organizing team has chosen ‘Science, Technology and Innovation Towards Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) in achieving Sustainable Development Goals’ as the theme for i-NASCON 2020. This meeting will be a platform to create a networking and collaboration to form a group of researchers from both local and international. At the end of the conference, it is expected that all participants were updated with the recent advancement of technologies to be applied in their research and innovating towards the fourth Industrial revolution (4IR) and creating a more sustainability. 

1. To disseminate the latest research findings to the participants through presentation and publications.

2. To update the participants with new technologies and approaches, specifically in the area of biomedicine, biotechnology and bioinformatics.

2. To create a platform for researchers from various area to share them knowledge and ideas.
